In this role as Maintenance Planner, you will work within the Maintenance & Reliability team of our Resins manufacturing plant based in Altona and be exposed to one of Australia’s most widely recognised brands. Your key responsibilities will include detailing, planning and scheduling maintenance activities for the Resins plant to enable timely, safe and cost effective execution of all required maintenance. You will deliver plant reliability through continuous improvement initiatives, strong financial controls and a wealth of technical expertise for both day-to-day and plant shutdowns.

  • Scope & plan all new work in SAP
  • Report maintenance performance measures
  • Organise supplementary labour, equipment and parts as required
  • Lead the planning and scheduling process
  • Initiate reliability improvements and maintenance strategy reviews
  • Optimising maintenance plans & schedules for efficiency
  • Manage fixed cost spend against business plan
  • Provide technical support in areas of expertise (including SAP and planning)
  • Manage the key role of SAP PM & Scheduling Software Coordinator
  • Participate in audits and SHE reviews
  • Lead/participate/facilitate safe work reviews for maintenance activities
  • Demonstrate leadership within maintenance or planning role. Previous experience will be looked upon favourably
